AGOR has always had a dream. After the construction of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper by Emaar, we always wanted to do something monumental that could match or even surpass this majestic project.
Smoothly getting closer to the intended goal, we began work on the Lakhta Center. The tallest skyscraper in Europe, winner of many awards and records. Only its technical complexity can be compared with the advantages of this object.
The number of utilities in the tower greatly outweighs the space allocated for them. We solved this issue.
The first step was a laser scanning of the floors and recreated the volumes of the premises with an accuracy of millimeters. Further, with the help of a set of specialized software complexes, BIM modeling of engineering communications and their interconnection were performed. In such a case, the hierarchy of processes and well-coordinated teamwork is very important, since the movement of one network affects all the others. AGOR specialists successfully coped with the task and, importantly, enjoyed it.
As a result, engineering networks were laid on the floors in the required quality and quantity, which seemed impossible before our work was done.
We are sure that in the near future we will have more similar objects that we will be able to design from scratch.
